The fight against petrochemical pollution demands resolve and action. A change in Washington will not deter the work of Beyond Petrochemicals and our partners, who are fighting to protect our families and neighbors and halt the toxic pollution and climate destruction perpetuated by the petrochemical industry.

From the Gulf Coast up to the rivers and peaks of Appalachia, this campaign is about community. The collective efforts of our partners have already halted 13 petrochemical projects in Texas, Louisiana, and the Ohio River Valley, preventing millions of tons of carbon emissions. This campaign is already winning where the industry believes it is strongest, and our partners are only getting stronger.

While we know there are threats and tests to come, our commitment remains unshaken. We shall not be moved.

About Beyond Petrochemicals:

Launched by Bloomberg Philanthropies in September 2022, Beyond Petrochemicals: People Over Pollution aims to halt the rapid expansion of petrochemical and plastic pollution in the United States.
